Shown here is an arabian bread better known as Tamees. It's cooked in different flavours. Butter and eggs add more rich content to its base. Priced at one riyal for about more than fifty years, it's extremely economical and much popular among arabs. When cooked, it's punched-in with needles which add impressions to it's surface. But at all outlets in Saudi Arabia, unlike in Pakistan, it is government order that all wheat products must be handled in proper shopping bags. The price of such a shopping bag(based on amount and quality of plastic used) in Pakistan would cost at least ten rupees!
